Our History
Founded in 1982 in Michigan, USA, Energy Steel & Supply Co. began serving the nuclear industry as a material supplier. Now—with 40 years of experience under our belts—we’ve expanded our products and services to include a broad range of capabilities: equipment fabrication, precision machining, engineering, service and repairs, and support for solving obsolescence.
Throughout public policy and energy sector regulation changes, we have evolved to provide additional value to our products and greater service to our nuclear customers. While solving increasing challenges facing the global supply of nuclear equipment, we continue to innovate to support a clean energy future.
In 2019, we were acquired by Hayward Tyler, a division of Avingtrans. Together with Hayward Tyler, we continue to serve the global nuclear energy sector.
