ROCHESTER HILLS, MICHIGAN – (August 18, 2025) – Energy Steel & Supply Co, a manufacturer of machined products and components for the civil nuclear power industry, has entered into an agreement to purchase the Ajax positive displacement pump line and all associated intellectual property from Gardner Denver, a global manufacturer of industrial equipment including pumps, compressors, and blowers.
Energy Steel will manufacture Ajax positive displacement pumps and parts from its Michigan, USA facility and will be the technical authority for design, code compliance, and regulatory requirements of positive displacement pumps and associated components, and will handle all quotes, engineering and delivery to nuclear power providers and industrial segment customers.
Ajax pump customers can rely on high quality OEM support from Energy Steel to ensure ongoing performance of pumps avoid the cost uncertainty related to product obsolescence, knowing that Energy Steel has served the nuclear power industry for over 40 years.
“The Ajax acquisition helps us deliver greater value to our existing and future customers,” said Duncan Morgan, Group Managing Director of the Advanced Engineering Systems Division of Avingtrans, which owns Energy Steel. “We look forward to ensuring the world-class quality and performance of Ajax pumps and components.”
