Lapeer, Michigan (February 14, 2017) ENERGY STEEL, a manufacturer of specialty “build-to-order” systems and components, announces a licensed partnership with INTEGRA Technologies to sell and manufacture the safety-related, ASME Section III, “BlackHawk Hydraulic Nut” product line for use in the nuclear power market in fall 2017.
INTEGRA’s patented hydraulic tension technologies provide a breakthrough technology that drastically speeds up turnaround maintenance on critical equipment and shortens the critical path schedule for the total turnaround project. Installed on applications throughout the Energy industry, such as Reactor Vessels and Heat Exchangers, breakout of large, high pressure flanges can be slashed to less than two hours, using half the manpower and reducing task duration by up to 80%.
“Our partnership with INTEGRA Technologies for the ASME Section III ‘BlackHawk Hydraulic Nut’ provides new technologies for the global nuclear power market in safety related applications” said Frank Helin, President and GM of Energy Steel. “We believe the market demand for INTEGRA’s current product line is just beginning to be realized, and we expect to expand into international markets for these highly engineered products.”
Gordon Britton, President and CEO of INTEGRA has expressed “ I am very pleased to work together with Energy Steel to ensure the health, safety and reliability of nuclear infrastructure that serves society.”
